Chiefs rookie Hunter Nourzad is fitting in perfectly in KC and it has nothing to do with football
Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

The Kansas City Chiefs have drafted a pretty good rookie class from the 2024 NFL Draft. They did a great job of addressing needs position-wise and bringing guys in who fit in the scheme and what the team embodies.

When you are drafting a guy, he is likely to be on that team for the next four years unless he gets traded or something. So, it's also not a bad idea for the player to be a fit for the city.

From everything we have heard, these guys are. The three we heard from on Saturday—Hunter Nourzad, Xavier Worthy, and Jared Wiley—are great fits for the city. Worthy and Wiley come from schools in Texas, so there is a chance they like the same styles of food as in Kansas City.

From what we heard Nourzad say, he is a perfect fit.

"I have only been here for a day, so I haven't been able to try any of the local spots," Nourzad said during his introductory press conference on Saturday. "I do love my BBQ, so we will see."

The Kansas City Chiefs have not just brought in the right men for the job, they have brought in players who are eager to contribute and make a difference. This enthusiasm bodes well for the team's future, leaving fans optimistic about the upcoming season.
